18-karat gold jewelry consists of 18 parts pure gold mixed with six parts other alloy metals, meaning 18-karat gold jewelry is 75 percent pure gold when expressed as a percentage. These other metals could be a mixture of nickel, silver, copper, zinc, or palladium, depending on the color of the gold. For example, rose gold always contains copper (which gives it its signature rose gold color), while white gold always contains white alloys like nickel or palladium.

18k gold-plated jewelry is simply jewelry made with a layer of real 18 karat (18K) solid gold applied over a base metal like brass or silver through an electroplating process. This type of jewelry offers the look and feel of real gold at an affordable price. It also has a much longer lifespan than other "gone tone" jewelry due to its thicker layer of real gold plating.

Pros: it's typically affordable, looks just as luxurious as solid gold pieces, and won't chip or discolor easily with wear. Cons: 18k gold-plated jewelry will eventually wear off over time if not cared for properly and need replating. So, you will need to give it some TLC in order to keep it looking new.

Golden Grass is a plant, specie that is found always alive in the desert of Jalapão near the Amazon Rainforest. The grass has a delicate foliage of golden coloration and is nothing more than a typical specie of a human field that only grows in Jalapão.

The grass grows throughout the year, but its harvesting time goes from September-November when the plant is dry and has this incredible gold coloration. Tocantins population are the only people who are legally allowed to harvest the grass. All plantation and harvesting control are based on the environmental protection standards ensuring preservation of the specie.
